The Stricto Sensu Graduate Program at the University of São Paulo at Ribeirão Preto School of Physical Education and Sports (EEFERP-USP) received approval from the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) on 06/25/2015 and offers the Master’s course in Physical Education and Sports.
The course objective is to prepare graduates who are able to provide critical and grounded contributions to society, whether in the production of new knowledge, services or the solution of problems.
The students are expected to take 24 credits in subjects and the remaining 72 credits in the elaboration of the Master’s thesis. At the end of the first course year, the students need to take the General Qualification Exam and, at the end of the course, the students are expected to defend their Master’s thesis before an examination board.
Physical Activity and Sports
Develops studies that articulate Physical Activity and Sports in their biodynamical, sociocultural and pedagogical branches with the various knowledge fields in different application and intervention contexts.
